- Clan owners pay for the plan; members never pay.
- 14-day free trial, no card. Plans renew until you cancel, and you keep access until the paid period ends.
- EU and UK consumers can withdraw within 14 days and get a proportional refund.
- Your clan's data belongs to your clan. We host it to run the service.
- Points auctions are for clan points only, not real money.
- raids.bid isn't affiliated with NCSOFT.
The short version helps you read the document; it doesn't replace it.
01Who we are and this agreement
raids.bid (the “service”) is made and run by a private individual based in Romania (“we”, “us”), who wrote and owns the raids.bid software. You can reach us at [email protected].
These terms are an agreement between us and you. By creating a clan portal, joining one, donating or otherwise using raids.bid, you accept them. If you use raids.bid for a clan or a group, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of this agreement.
02What raids.bid is
raids.bid is web software for Lineage II clans: point (DKP) tracking, loot auctions paid in clan points, raid events with RSVPs and attendance, boss respawn timers, gear tracking, reports, fundraising goals and an optional Discord bot. Each clan gets its own portal at its own address, for example yourclan.raids.bid.
raids.bid doesn't host, connect to or modify any game server or game client, and it never asks for game account credentials.
03Accounts and who is responsible for what
- Clan owner. Signs up, holds the plan and pays for it. The owner account (email and password) manages the subscription at
raids.bid/portal. - Clan admins. Run the clan portal: events, points, auctions, members. The owner decides who is an admin and is responsible for what admins do in that portal.
- Members. Register in a clan's portal with a character name and password. A member's points, bids and attendance belong to that clan's records.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or older if the law in your country requires it, to create any account.
- Keep your passwords to yourself. You're responsible for activity under your accounts; tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep the owner email address current: it's how we reach you about your account.
04Free trial
New clan portals start with a 14-day free trial with full access. No payment details are needed to start it. If no plan is chosen by the end of the trial, the portal is locked until a plan is chosen (see “If a plan ends or isn't paid”).
05Plans, prices and renewal
- Prices are shown in euros on our website. Where VAT or a similar tax applies, it's shown at checkout.
- A plan is a licence: it gives the clan a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the raids.bid software, through its portal, for the period paid. It doesn't transfer the software or any ownership of it.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through PayPal or Stripe. Your payment is handled by them under their own terms; we never see or store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell the owner by email or in the owner portal at least 14 days before a change applies to them, and you can cancel before it does.
- Some clans may be given access on individual terms (for example a manual activation). Those terms are agreed directly with us.
06Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel any time from the owner portal or through PayPal/Stripe. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- EU and UK consumers: you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a paid subscription after you buy it. Because the service starts immediately at your request, if you withdraw within those 14 days we refund what you paid minus a proportional amount for the days you used. To withdraw, email [email protected] with your clan address; you don't have to give a reason.
- Apart from that right and anything else the law requires, payments aren't refundable for unused parts of a period.
- If we charged you by mistake (for example twice for the same period), tell us and we'll refund the extra charge.
07If a plan ends or isn't paid
If a trial ends or a paid period runs out without renewal, the clan portal is locked: members see a notice instead of the portal. We keep the clan's data so the owner can reactivate by choosing a plan.
If a portal stays locked for more than 90 days, we may delete it and its data. We'll try to warn the owner by email before that happens. The owner can ask us for an export of the clan's data at any time before deletion.
08Donations
- Donations to raids.bid, and donations to a clan's own fundraising goal, are voluntary gifts. They don't buy a product, a plan or any special treatment.
- Donations are processed by Stripe or PayPal. The name you enter is shown on the public supporters board; tick “Donate anonymously” if you'd rather it wasn't.
- Donations aren't refundable, except where the payment was unauthorised or made in error: tell us within 30 days and we'll sort it out.
- Money given to a clan goal goes toward that clan's raids.bid costs. It isn't paid out to the clan or its members.
09Your clan's data and content
Your clan's data (member names, points, bids, events, gear, messages, images and so on) belongs to you and your clan. You give us the permission we need to host, store, back up, display and process it in order to run the service for you. That permission ends when the data is deleted, apart from copies in backups that expire on their normal schedule.
You're responsible for what you and your members put into the portal. Only upload things you have the right to share.
If we receive a credible complaint that content breaks the law or someone's rights, we may remove it and will tell the owner.
10Acceptable use
Don't use raids.bid to:
- break the law, or harass, threaten or impersonate anyone;
- upload malware, or try to break into, overload, scrape at scale or reverse-engineer the service;
- get around plan limits, or share one plan across clans in a way it wasn't sold for;
- arrange real-money trades of game accounts, items or currency (the auction system is for clan points only);
- collect other people's personal data beyond what running your clan needs.
We may suspend access that puts the service or other clans at risk. Where we can, we'll warn you first and tell you why.
11Discord bot
PRO clans can connect a Discord bot to their portal with a bot key. The bot acts for your clan inside your Discord server under Discord's own terms. Keep the bot key secret; anyone holding it can act as your clan's bot. You can revoke a key at any time.
12Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep raids.bid online and back clan data up daily, but we can't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages and events outside our control happen.
raids.bid keeps improving, so features change. If we remove something central to a paid plan, we'll tell owners in advance and, if it matters to you, you can cancel and get a proportional refund of prepaid time.
13Trademarks and ownership
Lineage and Lineage II are trademarks of NCSOFT Corporation. raids.bid is an independent tool made by players and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NCSOFT. Game names, item names and boss names are used only to describe what the tool helps with.
The raids.bid software, design and brand belong to us. A plan or trial gives your clan a licence to use the software for as long as it runs; these terms don't give you any other right to it.
14Liability
raids.bid is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don't give promises beyond those in these terms.
We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens between players or inside a game. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to a clan for any claim is limited to what that clan paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
15Ending the agreement
You can stop using raids.bid at any time, and the owner can ask us to delete the clan portal and its data by emailing [email protected].
We may end or suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it. If we end the service for a paid clan without a fault on its side, we refund the unused prepaid time.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when features or the law change. For changes that matter, we'll tell owners at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using raids.bid after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel.
17Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
If something goes wrong, email us first at [email protected]. Most things can be sorted out quickly that way.
